With around 300,000 inhabitants, Karlsruhe is the second largest city in Baden-Württemberg. It is known for its architecture, culture and history.
Carlsruhe was founded in 1715 by Margrave Karl Wilhelm von Baden-Durlach and has a unique network of streets radiating from the castle in the center of the City.
