Fürth is an independent city in Bavaria with around 124,000 inhabitants. It is located about 10 kilometers northwest of Nuremberg and is part of the Nuremberg metropolitan region. Fürth has a long history and was first mentioned in a document in 704.

The city has a well-preserved old town with many historic buildings and sights, including the Fürth City Museum. Fürth is also known for its Jewish history and culture. There is a Jewish museum and a synagogue, which was destroyed during the Second World War and has now been restored.
