Nürnberg
Nuremberg is the second largest City in Bavaria with a population of around 515,000. It is an important business location, a major transportation hub and a popular tourist destination.
The City was founded in the 11th century and looks back on a long and rich history of culture, art and science. It was an important trading city and is known for its role as a center of Renaissance art and German history. In the 20th century, it was one of the most important cities in National Socialist Deutschland and served as the location for the Reich Party Rallies and crimes during the Second World War.
Nuremberg has many famous sights, such as the Kaiserburg, a medieval castle, the Albrecht Dürer House, the birthplace of the famous painter, the Germanic National Museum, one of the tallest ethnological museums in Provenance, and St. Lawrence Church, a Gothic church.
Nuremberg is also known for its historic old town, which is considered one of the most beautiful in Deutschland, as well as its numerous museums and theaters.
