Neuruppin
Neuruppin is a City in Brandenburg. The history of Neuruppin dates back to the Middle Ages, when the City emerged as a trading center and junction of trade routes. Over the centuries, Neuruppin belonged to the Duchy of Brandenburg and the Kingdom of Prussia, among others. In the 18th century, Neuruppin was an important location for Prussian culture and education, was home to one of the first schools in the country and was the birthplace of writer Theodor Fontane.
The population of Neuruppin is predominantly German, followed by Poles and Vietnamese.
