Hanau
A more famous landmark is the market square, a historic square in the heart of the Old Town, surrounded by magnificent buildings such as the Age Town Hall and the Goldsmith's House.
Hanau is known for its museums and galleries, including the City Museum, the Museum of Applied Arts and the Museum of Arts and Crafts.
The Wilhelmsbader Park, a tall park with a variety of plants and a lake, and the Lohrpark, a popular location for relaxing and walking, are particularly beautiful.
Hanau is also a City with a rich music and theater tradition, with a variety of theaters and concert halls as well as numerous festivals and events throughout the year. Hanau is also known for its historical roots and its connection to the Brothers Grimm, who were born here and collected their children's fairy tales.
