Bamberg is an independent City in Bavaria. It has around 70,000 inhabitants and is known for its historic old town, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bamberg's Old Town is particularly famous for its magnificent Baroque and Renaissance buildings, such as Bamberg Cathedral, the New Residence and the Old Town Hall.
